Tropical storm Leslie rocks St. John's

Bannerman Park, downtown St. John's, two trees down to left of Colonial Building. Branches everywhere.
 
Damage to roof of Battery Hotel in east end St. John's, midway up Signal Hill. Gusts here strongest in the city. 
 
Massive limb down at base of Signal Hill. Four-door Jeep was rocked while outside Battery Hotel a little further up.
 
Outside Gracie Joe's coffee shop near entrance to Her Majesty's Penitentiary in St. John's.
 
Strips of siding litter side of Forest Road.


Damage to new housing in Pleasantville, next to Quidi Vidi Lake in east end St. John's. 

Tree down in residential neighbourhood in St. John's. Trees and limbs litter roads.

wow. looks like some pretty bad damage. I wonder if getting new siding is even worth it.
